He is one of the most legends of czech rock guitar (together with Radim Hladík) but he is also composer of jazz, scenic and classical music. Pavlíček was a member of many noted groups like jazz-rock Bohemia, both of equivalents Pražský výběr (jazz-rock and new-wave), B.S.P., leader of groups Stromboli and later Big Heads.
